    David Yurman’s son Evan Yurman designs the brands edgy men’s line.

  • THE CHALLENGE

    Design a limited edition gift pack for the 2013 Holiday season that will increase awareness and drive sales for Patrón Añejo aged tequila while communicating Patrón’s core values of craft and quality, and do this while respecting the luxury status and distribution of this year’s design partner.

  • WHAT WE DID

    For its commitment to understated luxury, meticulous craftsmanship and masculine elegance, David Yurman was identified as the ideal brand partner for Patrón. Yurman’s signature gold and silver designs and love for unique and rare objects became key considerations in the design process. The resulting design is a two-toned sword handle bottle stopper featuring elaborate metal carvings inspired by hand guards of 18th century Japanese Samurai swords. The form is die cast in solid metal and electroplated in 24 karat gold and gunmetal. This bold, limited release pack experienced very high demand, and indeed, with pre-sales, few made it to store shelves. This product provided brand equity for both brands without compromising the values of either, is a testament to our commitment to immersive brand strategy.
